Christopher told Vikus that he would be back for him in three years. What do you think will happen when he comes back?

I think that Vikus is killed because he has double jeopardy.  The aliens will not trust him and the humans know that he is a danger to the orginization. Christopher does come back and he starts a war with MSNBC, the centeral power that controlled the alien camp. The aliens kill the big wigs and intern the humans all over earth and treat them like pets. They are good pet owners.

i remember those Planet of the Apes movies too.

If life is not stressful enough!

This is a pain.  I will do it due to the fact that it is a requisite for the class, but I still am trying to answer othe peoples blogs and I can’t do it. ( I am doing somthing wrong. I am a computer illiterate!). I know I take this to seriously but I probably won’t be able to sleep over this!!!

Rise to the challenge and find help…… With a little preparation, and a little bit of pushing yourself. This problem shall pass…. kinda like intestinal blockage, once you start there is no turning back until your finished

Food Inc. is a documentary that is out to reveal the current state of American food industries and shows the mass production of food. Shockingly, this film is extremely one sided. Throughout the film there are certain things that are misrepresented and are only given an opinion from one…

First of all, I think you’re right—it is easy to paint a giant corporation as the evil villian. That said, when it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck…While individuals and companies do have a right to protect their creations, I am not sure if genetically modified food could really be their “creation.” Also, most of the farmers they shut down, never intentionally stole Monsanto seed. They were simply unluckly enough to be neighboring a farm that did use the seed. Wind here is the real culprit. Saving seeds may be illegal, but it also used to be illegal to teach a slave how to read. I believe King would consider the seed law to be unjust. My point is that legality or illegality is not the same thing as right and wrong. Despite what I have said, I don’t think it does any good to paint the company as evil. Monsanto is doing what they are supposed to do—make money. That is their only consideration. Perhaps, we, as a nation, need to rethink that priority.

I agree that the food corporations are producing food that its cheaper, bigger, and faster to benift everyone..

Food corporations are motivated by profit and nothing else, if anything they do benefits the consumer,it is a byproduct of their doing business

Media

Media targets everyone especially women . The media has a thousand tricks to get you to buy their vision.

First the media targets men and women’s home lives and finally they target women’s bodies themselves

Media targets men with these ridiculous beer ads which say…

Women, being half of the population, support this behavior through inaction. As the saying goes…..”Silence is Acceptance” So my question is why is the Media demonized for presenting what is accepted. The person buying the cosmetics is supporting the marketing of cosmetic company

You got that right but I sure wish drinking that beer would bring on the women

But then you would not know me……

Food inc, Immigration and other issues

Unbiased information is a dying practice in the modern world. People have become complacent in forming opinions on issues, not waiting for supporting data or using statements without information to support it. So a person hears or reads something telling them the conclusion the should reach, and they tend to believe it if reinforced by similar statements.

This causes phenomenonias, such as…Male Answer Syndrome, or MAS. This is a condition where a person who could not save his marriage, without any doubt, knows exactly what is needed to attain peace in the Middle East. Or can not program a VCR, yet argues about how to fix the infrastructure.  This is caused by the “Dopeler Effect” that is when information presented rapidly seems to make more sense, than when a person has time to think about what has been said. Otherwise known as jumping to conclusions. The practice of opinionation without complete representation of information.

Food inc is a film that uses such tactics. A statement is made without backing data then used as an example of fact. Talk Radio uses this tactic as well and often uses a quote without authentication. After several uses, a person is inclined to either believe it or dismiss it entirely.

Christopher told Vikus that he would be back for him in three years. What do you think will happen when he comes back?

Christopher would not be able to locate Vikus since he would no longer be human, and likely dead from the violence of an uprising due to crowded, inhumane conditions
